Our Breeders
Saddleback Pastoral Co. manager, Mark Torrens, is responsible for the ongoing development and genetic improvement of our 250 strong breeder herd and he is a passionate advocate for rearing quiet, good temperament, tolerant and fertile cattle.
Our breeders are D4 or D5 classification and fully registered with the Droughtmaster Society. All our females possess excellent structural soundness, fleshing and doing ability. A strict culling program is enforced upholding the stud’s standard of excellence.
